阜沙村位于阜沙镇中心偏东南，靠近镇城区，是镇内的城中村，被认定为「广东省卫生村」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

阜沙村所在之地，始于元末明初。那时镇域内只有阜圩山，四周仍是大海；至明末清初，此处才淤积成沙洲。[3]

其后，顺德人在此修筑围堤，形成同丰围和连丰围，阜南则借大有、罗松两村的堤岸成围。[3]

1952年秋，阜南村与抱沙村组合成阜沙村，两村名中各取一字，定名为阜沙乡；人民公社时期，该村改称阜沙大队。[3]

1958年秋，阜南与阜沙两村再次合并，称阜沙大队。大南沙的上南迳大队于1963年并入。[3]

1983年，此地称阜沙乡；1986年设立阜沙村委会。[3]

地理与经济[edit]

村域总面积为2.37平方公里，全村编为16个村民小组。村与城区交界的建国片，正用于镇里的商住、房地产及工业小区建设，占地1200亩。全村1221户，常住人口4549人，流动人口1100人。博雅地名网未注明这组数字的年份。[2]

村内有一座公有物业园区，邻近镇工业园，有7327平方米工业厂房，引进的企业多为家具与五金制造。农业以花卉种植和水产养殖为主，养殖面积达2000多亩，以南美白对虾为主。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，阜沙村获广东省农业农村厅认定，列为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为水产养殖。阜沙村在2020年、2021年和2022年均入选「淘宝村」名单。[1]
