滘心社区位于南头镇东南部，距镇政府约3.4公里，东面与黄圃镇的文明村、新地村相接。社区解放前称六九堡，1950年改名滘心，2010年11月由滘心村改制为社区居民委员会，下设14个居民小组。[1][2]

解放前，此地称六九堡。1950年，因河涌纵横交错、地处文明围中心，改名为滘心并设滘心村。此后经历了1958年成立大队、1983年改设乡、1986年12月恢复村委会的过程，直到2010年11月才转为社区居民委员会。据百度百科，此地在1950年改名滘心的同年，被认定为抗战时期的「广东省革命老区村庄」。[1][2][3]

博雅地名网称社区辖区面积约4000亩，人口约1.3万人，其中户籍4962人；百度百科则称常住人口约1.8万人，并列出细缯、二坊、石坎（石磡）、太平、益耕五个自然村。两处人口数字均未注明年份。[1][3]

经济[edit]

社区与南头镇升辉南工业区相连，辖区内有110多家工业企业，主要行业为家电、机械、化工、电子等，樱雪集团与涛美远东（日用）有限公司是其中的龙头。自2003年起，社区发展厂房出租，每年物业收入300多万。[3]

2024年，社区启动「工改」改造，投入约4100万元，估计每年可增收360万元。[1]

文化[edit]

2012年，东福园食街被规划为南头镇的特色美食街，园林式的食街中可见盘景与根雕，是中山北部的美食地标。[3]

社区内有庙社十个，每年元宵节前后，各庙社组织扎灯、挂灯、投灯、饮灯酒等传统活动。社区还与镇政府在每年农历四月十二日共同举办纪念活动，缅怀革命先烈。[3]

社区先后获得「广东省卫生村（社区）」「广东省平安和谐六好社区」「中山市无政策外出生村（居）委会」等称号。中山市绿色社区的2023年度认定于12月落在本社区；2019年9月，社区出现在广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建名单中，该批为2018年度的名单。[2][3]
