三沙村的位置在横栏镇西北，西面濒临西江，与古镇镇相邻。境内有岐江公路与古神公路，中江线高速也从村中穿过。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，此地自宋末元初淤积成沙洲，按序号命名，村委会设于此，故名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年，三沙与五沙、六沙合并，称长庚乡。1953年，五、六沙又从中析出，此地改称三联乡。1958年一度称三沙大队；1986年设三沙村委会，1990年底改为三沙管理区，2001年起恢复村委会的建制。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，村子入选首批「广东省一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（花卉苗木）。2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年、2021年与2022年，村子三次上榜「淘宝村」名单。[1]
