六沙村位于广东省中山市横栏镇西部，临近西江，水资源丰富。据博雅地名网概况，全村土地达13000多亩，早先分为15个村民小组，是横栏镇面积最大的村。[1]

2012年，全村工农业总产值2.0573亿元。村委会自2000年起发展水产养殖，水产养殖面积约11000亩，主要品种为南美白对虾、甲鱼与桂花鱼。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1936年设六沙乡；1949年改为西海六沙保，此后几经与五沙合并与分设。1984年才又成为六沙乡，1986年设村委会，1990年改称管理区，2001年起恢复村民委员会的建制。[1]

名胜[edit]

广骏生态园位于本村六沙大道，占地300亩，2018年7月29日开业。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，六沙村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。2020年11月，村子被授予「第六届全国文明村镇」称号。2019年9月，村子上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年、2021年与2022年，村子三次上榜「淘宝村」名单。[1]
