建村与沿革[edit]
该村始建于1970年，由阜沙镇罗松、大有、丰联、阜沙四村的部分村民迁此定居而成，当时称「团结」，取社员团结一致之意；1981年才改名为新团结村，又称福隆[1]。自2002年起划入高平行政村，博雅地名网的高平村页面也记此事[2]。
经济与人口[edit]
村民以农业为生，传统上种植水稻、甘蔗和香蕉，饲养生猪及家禽，近年又种青皮冬瓜、粉葛，走绿色生态农业路线；收入的主要来源是农业生产和房屋出租[1]。2015年时户籍人口为3710人，外来人口约2000人[1]。
