石特社区是广东省中山市港口镇西北部的社区，驻地在中村。它位于镇政府以西约2公里处，距中山市区北约6.6公里。[2][3]

地名由来[edit]

此地早先以石块和杉桩筑围造田，当地把「桩」叫作「特」，地名由此而来。[2]

地理环境[edit]

地面平缓，位于大沙田地带，河涌纵横。石特涌蜿蜒，长4千多米；北面以分流涌与坦背二龙村相隔，西南接西区街道的沙朗、隆平、隆昌，东面连西街社区，南面隔石特涌与西区街道广丰北围相望。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年设石特大队，当时耕地4399亩，1990年为4504亩。1988年3月，经市政府批准，石特下村分出，以旧社坛之名称「穗安」，另设穗安村民委员会。2001年6月，石特与穗安重新合并，2002年改设石特社区居民委员会。[2][4]

人口民族[edit]

社区下设15个居民小组，石特片9个，穗安片6个。外来人口有11000多人，户籍则为3706人。[2]

经济[edit]

全社区面积折合6252.4484亩，即416.8公顷。至2003年底，已累计征地3523亩（用于工业、交通与住宅），穗安片土地全部征收，现仅存石特片农业用地1958亩，包括鱼塘与蔬菜耕地。[2]

百度百科称，近年社区通过社企合作推动绿美生态，并改造闲置地建成「溢彩耕园」项目。[3]

社会事业[edit]

社区设幼儿园2所（明日之星幼儿园、穗安幼儿园）和小学1所（石特小学），另有农贸市场1个（穗安市场），以及党群服务中心、卫生服务中心和文化活动中心。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年11月，石特社区被认定为「2022年度第二批中山市绿色社区」。2023年4月，社区列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]

社区此前还获得「广东省卫生村」「中山市生态示范村」「广东省先进党支部」等称号。[2]
