群联村是坦洲镇西部的行政村，地形略呈梯形，东接联一村，南隔前山水道与新合村相望，西与神湾镇相邻，北接新前进村。[1][2]

2001年，群胜、南沙、联胜、联星四村合并为一村，辖区面积27平方千米。外来人员约1500名，本村共有户籍居民2409户，人口12775人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

农村体制改革之际（2001年），群胜、南沙、联胜、联星四个管理区并成群联村委会，此名一直使用。[3]

地名[edit]

「群联」二字寓意群众联合，因村委会驻地设在这里而取名。[4]

经济[edit]

耕地面积达2.2万亩左右，党员188人，党支部29个，产业以农业与水产养殖为主。[2]

百度百科载，2008年，村创建市级卫生村；2010年，又创建省级卫生村；2021年，它入选广东省级专业村名单，属「一村一品、一镇一业」一类。[1]
