七村社区位于坦洲镇东北部，坦南公路旁，东北与珠海市接壤，东南与同胜社区相邻，西北与永一村、永二村交界。[1][2]

社区辖21个居民小组。2001年自村委会改组为居委会（据百度百科），此前由滩涂围垦而成的村落，清光绪年间已有人定居。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地属三洲乡，分七堡、六堡，之后改称七村、六村。1952年两村分归同胜乡与永胜乡；1961年才从同胜大队中分出七村大队。其后经过七村乡的阶段，1987年恢复为村委会，1989年改称管理区。2001年10月，金斗居委会局部并入，组成七村社区居民委员会。[3]

经济[edit]

九十年代初，社区凭借靠近城区的区位，确立以外向型经济为主、招商引资的思路，建成标准厂房11幢。现有皮革、制衣、电子、刺绣等工业企业26家，较大的有「中山励华制衣」和「中山华声五金电子有限公司」。[2]

2007年，工农业总产值为1900万元（博雅地名网记载），村民人均农村收入则为14400元。[2]

文化[edit]

社区设小学1所、幼儿园2所，并有卫生服务站、老人活动中心、农家书屋和志愿者服务站。[2]

民歌手何福友为本社区永祥队人。[4]

荣誉[edit]

社区曾获「中山市五好模范党支部」、「市级美丽宜居示范村」与「中山市绿色社区」等称号。[2]
