十四村社区位于坦洲镇东部，驻地在镇政府东偏南约2公里处，东侧与珠海翠微相接，南面紧邻珠海造贝，西侧挨着裕洲村，北侧是同胜社区，下辖14个居民小组。[1][2]

社区总面积3.53平方千米，2023年末登记在册的户籍人口为3175人，另有流动人口约12万，常住人口约6万。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

据地名由来，此地在「乾隆初」围海造田，陆续筑起协隆、姐、眼镜等围，随后涌尾、连仕、顺泰、沙角环、鹅嘴诸围相继建成。博雅地名网在此注为1733年至1755年，但1733年实为雍正十一年，乾隆元年是1736年，此处保留原文的写法，年份以原书为准。[4]

1949年以前此地称十四堡，此后称十四村。1952年隶属同胜乡，1961年析出另设十四村大队，次年又并回同胜大队，1974年再度析出。1983年改为十四乡，三年后称十四村管理区，到2001年10月才设立社区居民委员会。[3][4]

经济[edit]

社区不涉农，集体经济收入主要来自物业出租。百度百科提及，2023年这里开工了环洲现代信息技术研发制造项目，分为两期施工，建起高标准厂房，拟引进新一代信息技术与高端装备制造产业。[1][2]

文化[edit]

村落内的公共设施包括十四村小学、幼儿园，卫生服务站与综合文化中心也在社区之内。[2]

社区获得「广东省卫生村」「广东省宜居社区」「广东省六好平安和谐社区」等荣誉，还有「广东省档案工作特级单位」的称号。[2]
