涌边村是广东省中山市沙溪镇下辖的行政村，由涌边和婆石两个自然村组成，位于镇的西部，由石岐城区过岐江桥往西，越过六乡桥即可到达。[1]

村名的来历是最初的居民沿六乡涌河岸聚居，村因此取名涌边。[1]村内有树龄约700年的孖樟古树。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网据《香山县志》记载，涌边立村始于宋代，相传最早由一户章姓渔家在此定居。[1]

这一时期的建制变动较多：1961年曾单设涌边大队，1967年复归康乐乡，1976年因婆石并入又设大队。1984年至1986年间为乡，之后成为村委会，1990年一度为管理区，1998年恢复村委会至今。[1]

地理与农业[edit]

村东有六乡河，村庄因地处河边而得名；村的东面与涌头村隔河相望，西接板尾园村，北隔白鹤塘与横栏镇横东村相呼应。[1]村子土地肥沃，属于典型的民田农村。[1]

人口与收入[edit]

2009年，村内常住人口2407人，人均年收入12286元。[1]

2023年4月，村子在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位的名单中。[1]
