虎逊村是广东省中山市沙溪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东南面，紧邻中山市城区，105国道和岐江河大桥从村中通过。[1]村名来自辖区内的虎逊岩。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村子因辖区内的虎逊岩而得名，岩在大石兜村东北的小山上。[1][3]相传明代有位老僧在山中石洞诵经，山上的猛虎每天清晨闻声伏在洞外，后来驯服离去，山因此叫作虎逊岩。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年村子归大同乡管辖，1953年另立虎逊乡，1958年改为生产营，1967年为大队。[1]

1981年大队被撤，其地分设大兜、沙平两个大队；1984年两者又合为虎逊乡；2001年成立虎逊村委会，延续至今。[1]

教育与荣誉[edit]

2004年8月底，村内的虎逊小学完成合并工作。[2]

村子于1998年被评为省卫生村，2001年至2004年被中山市委评为文明村。[2]2019年9月，虎逊村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2022年10月又列入「淘宝村」名单。[1]
