龙头环村是广东省中山市沙溪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的北面偏西，距中山市区西面约7公里。[1][4]村子明初已有人聚居，清代以村北寨定名为龙头环，是侨乡。[2]

2019年6月，龙头环村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1][4]

地名由来[edit]

村落在明初建立，清雍正年间称屯村，当时分为南北两寨。到了乾隆初年，南寨名为龙聚环，北寨名为龙头环，取「双龙环绕，头尾聚居」之意。[1][3]因村在北，故以龙头环为村名，村委会驻地也在此。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，村子属乐群乡。1953年设立龙头环乡，1958年改称龙头环生产营，1961年改为龙头环大队。[1]

1984年又设为乡，1986年组建村委会，1990年换为管理区，1998年重新称村委会至今。[1]

经济与侨乡[edit]

村里耕地主要种稻谷，也产塘鱼、蔬菜与水果；工业上有制衣、印染、玩具和食品加工等行业。[1][2]

龙头环村生产的精制豆豉历史悠久，除本地销售外，也出口港澳和海外，远销美国、加拿大、澳洲等地。[2][3]侨领周崧与联合国官员王容华都是这里的人。[3]

文化与古迹[edit]

龙头环古村聚落在狮滘河南面，建筑多为砖木结构平房。[3]村中北极街上有北极殿，始建于清道光年间，供奉北方真武玄天上帝。[3]

村中有学校、幼儿园、卫生所、文化中心，并设有「中山市基督教会隆都堂」，该教堂于2003年10月奠基，2005年6月落成。[2]沙溪最大的山顶公园凤岭公园也在村内。[2]

荣誉[edit]

经认定，龙头环村于2026年3月成为广东省百千万工程第三批典型村镇之一。[1]2021年10月和2022年10月，龙头环村先后列入「淘宝村」名单。[1]
