地理环境[edit]
博雅地名网说村子连着镇中心；村东靠近古神公路与城轨古镇站，同益工业园则与横栏镇接壤。横琴水道流经村东，村内现存数条主要河流，现以泄洪排涝为主要功能。[2][3]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记户籍人口5398人、1292户，外来人口8000人；百度百科记户籍6460人，外来约一万人。两者年份未注，此处并存。[1][3]全村分七个村民小组，通行的是曹步话这一粤方言。[3]村里配备卫生站一处、老人活动室五间、幼儿园两所，另有一所全日制小学。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子形成于明末。清乾隆年间，因种茶而有了「曹步」之名；光绪年间，它被编入三区八段。1986年才改称曹三村，在此之前的1958年，曹步一带曾设第三、第四两个大队，1965年合为曹三大队。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村连续三次上榜淘宝村名单。[1]
