人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记常住人口5216人，另有外来者约六千人；百度百科记户籍6314人，外来约一万人。两者年份未注，此处并存。[1][3]村民通用粤方言曹步话。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
明末此处已有曹溪一带的聚落。清乾隆时茶叶贸易兴起，地名遂改为曹步。1958年，本村组建为曹二大队；1965年经合并，才确定村名。[3]
文化[edit]
村内的思源亭，是为悼念「横琴惨案」中1942年的遇难者而立，此亭经过三次迁建。[3]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网记，村辖区内私营厂企合计1283家，多是灯饰、木材、装修材料、五金、化工、印刷、服装等行业；村集体收入以厂房与土地出租为主。[2]2023年，村内81.15亩工业用地完成改造；收回的集体物业超过7万平方米，招商引资的农贸市场等项目建成后，预计年产值可增加约4.5亿元。[3]均都沙工业园的改造计划占地50.21亩，将以电子器件和灯饰配套为重点。[3]
