冈南村是广东省中山市古镇镇下辖的行政村，在镇的西南角：东边与冈东村为界，南与横栏镇接壤，西侧临西江、对岸即江门市，北边连着六坊村与七坊村。辖区总面积约3.37平方千米，距中山市区约23千米。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，村落始形成于宋代，至今约有730年。村民以蔡姓为主，始祖为蔡朴齐，二世祖晋源公在宋景定年间（约1260年至1264年）避祸辞官，由泉州一带迁到大冈山南麓落户。其后裔建起祠堂，形成祠前、隔水、广厚三个聚居点。[2][3]

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记户籍人口为5691人，年份为2023年；博雅地名网记有4740名常住居民、约1143户，外来人口近万人。两者年份不一，此处并存。[1][3]村民通用粤方言古镇话。[3]

经济[edit]

集体经济以物业租赁为主。改革开放以来，村发展外向型经济，扶持民营企业，集体经济持续增长。[2][3]

村中仍有冈南闸口与晋源故里闸口两处古迹。[3]土地革命与抗战时期，此地曾为中共活动地带，今被列为红色革命老区。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]2023年，村入选广东省「百千万工程」首批典型选树培育村。[3]2022年10月，村上榜2022年淘宝村名单。[1]村还获评全国文明村称号。[3]
