古镇社区是广东省中山市古镇镇下辖的居民委员会，也是镇内唯一的居民社区，不属于任何行政村。社区居民没有集中的居住地，分散在镇的曹、古、海三大片区之中。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网记社区有3450户常住户，8476名常住户籍居民，并有近1100名外来流动人口。[1][2]百度百科另有一组数字，户籍约两万三千人，流动约两万人，年份未注，与前者差距很大。[3]

经济[edit]

社区本身没有经营性收入，经费主要来自镇政府，按「收支两条线」管理，是一个以服务为主的社区。[2]

文化[edit]

2004年9月，社区成立老人协会，入会的老人已超过一千一百人；协会每月为长者办一次生日会，每年重阳节组织聚餐。2010年底，社区又成立慈善协会，筹得善款三十多万元，帮助过十多户困难家庭。[2]

场地方面，社区备有乒乓、羽毛球场地，篮球场与健身场地也齐全；群众团体则有书法、象棋、乒乓球、舞蹈等组别。[2]

荣誉方面，社区在2004年至2006年连续三年获评「中山市文明社区」；2006年，老人协会获评广东省「百佳群众性自治组织」，同年社区被评为中山市「六好平安和谐社区」，2007年又获广东省同名称号。2019年9月，社区被列入一份创建单位名单，名目为2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1][2]
