历史沿革[edit]
清嘉庆至道光年间，新会、小榄等地的居民陆续迁入，筑成启龙、仁龙、永龙、南龙、齐龙等围，之后合称永益围。[2][1]
1951年，此地为永益村，隶第三区东海乡。1958年设永红大队，1961年另设永益大队，归南头区和平公社；此后1967年转隶南头公社，1976年归东凤公社。1983年改为永益乡，隶东凤区；1986年改设永益村委会，隶东凤镇；1989年设永益管理区，1998年恢复村委会名称。[2]

全村土地面积4.06平方千米。村内河道环流，百度百科载建有37座桥梁与113亩河道网络。[2][1]
人口民族[edit]
流动人口5340人，户籍7230人。[2]
经济[edit]
村级集体物业厂房约40000平方米。村里在永益旧学校的6亩商住地上建了一个9000平方米的保障房项目，现已出租并投入使用。农业以甘蔗与塘鱼为主。[3][1]
文化[edit]
村内特色传统食品有年糕、煎堆、油角、糯米粽与月饼。该村赛龙艇历史悠久，仁龙艇多次在镇内与市内比赛中夺冠。村内五人飞艇传习所设于永益涌旁的永益小学校园内，作为「非物质文化遗产项目五人飞艇赛（东凤）」的传承场地，第五代传人卢元标被认定为市级代表性传承人。[3]
2019年9月，村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，永益村先后上榜淘宝村名单。百度百科另记，村为中山市东凤镇文明村。[2][1]
