鳌山村是广东省中山市黄圃镇下辖的行政村，位于黄圃镇东北郊，是黄圃历史最古老的村落之一，也是黄圃五大村之一。村东连吴栏村，北邻大魁沥与大雁村相接。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名来源于境内的鳌山书院。2001年12月，石岭村、岗东村和指北村三村合并为鳌山村。[1][2]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，全村总面积约6700亩，其中耕地5539亩，山林地650亩，山岗包括尖峰山、白鹤山、凤凰山等。全村设23个村民小组，总人口5792人，1653户，统计年份未注明。[2]

村民人均收入17200元，村集体经济纯收入在2013年为75万元。村中有传统龙舟7艘，分属石岭坊、北约坊、南约坊和村委会。[2]

古村[edit]

鳌山古村位于南约坊和北约坊一带，有三十六级古石径，也有宋代古码头遗址，成片的古祠堂与古青砖屋，还有北极殿、社学庙和北约观音大庙。鳌山村2012年成功申报为广东省第三批古村落。[3]

岗东南、北约坊方圆200米的地段，有八姓的11座古祠堂，以及约200间古青砖屋，至今保存完好的尚有40余间。[3]

北约观音大庙占地约1000平方米，庙内存有碑文。大庙约建于明末清初，此后1916年（民国五年）与1995年重修，乾隆三十五年（1770年）曾做过第一次重修。[3]

村内还有3座古庙宇，即石岭仙庙、北约观音大庙和南约北帝庙，以及13家古祠堂。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年6月，鳌山村列入第五批中国传统村落名录。2020年8月，村以腊味入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。2019年9月，村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
