地名由来[edit]
1956年，村里设立镇郊第一农业生产合作社，简称镇一，村名由此而来。[1]
文物与古迹[edit]
村内有一株生长500余年的古樟树。该树在地面分成两株树干，两人方能合抱，据博雅地名网，2003年经中山市林业局专家鉴定，是中山已知树龄最长的古树。村里近年已在其周围建起古树公园。[3]
村中的「百龄流芳」石牌坊建于清道光十八年（1838年），为四柱三间的通天式石牌坊，坊额正面刻「百龄流芳」四字。[1]
村里还有一条近200年历史的古龙舟「北溪显聪」，以及始建于明代、清代的何氏、黎氏宗祠和主帅庙、洪圣庙等。村委门楼即为清代所建的何氏祠堂门楼。[2]

村辖区总面积（含村庄、耕地、林地）3215亩，下辖8个村民小组。据博雅地名网，外来人口约700人，户籍人口3510人，统计年份未注明。[2]
村集体资产总额3236万元，2013年村级集体纯收入为153万元。村集体收入主要来自厂房和土地的租金。[2]
荣誉[edit]
镇一村以腊味入选「首批广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村」，名单于2020年8月公布。2019年9月，村上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
