吴栏村是广东省中山市黄圃镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的北部，北面隔河与广州市番禺区相望，有8公里海岸线。村域面积10500多亩，是黄圃镇辖下面积最大的行政村。[1][2]

村名由来[edit]

村名来自一段传说：此地原为上下两个沉积沙丘。相传一位吴姓老妇驾船到此谋生，不幸溺毙，船随水流至下游沙滩搁浅后霉烂，后人便称此地为「上吴婆沙下烂林子沙」，并取“栏”与“烂”谐音，简称吴栏。[1]

沿革[edit]

村里1952年成立农会，此后经历初级社（1954年）和高级社（1955年）。1962年设小公社，次年撤销，改为吴栏大队。2001年10月，乌珠、苏埒等村并入，村委会名称仍为吴栏村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

据博雅地名网，截至2013年底，全村常住人口为8338人。村内设有1个经济联合社和44个股份合作经济社，农民以养殖四大家鱼和种植粉葛为主。[2]

农民人均收入在2013年为16996元。当年村集体经济收入合计296万元，其中集体纯收入211万元，主要来自厂房与部分土地的出租。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2006年，村被评为中山市卫生村；2007年，被评为广东省卫生村。[2]
