永平社区是广东省中山市黄圃镇下辖的社区，位于镇区，原为黄圃镇的商贸中心和镇政府驻地。社区1953年建区，2001年改制为现名的社区居委会。[1][2]

沿革与名称[edit]

社区名称取自辖内的永安街与升平街，两街各取一字，寓意“永庆升平”。1953年8月建区，称永平街道管理区，当时组成街道包括永直街、永安街、升平街、新基西和北街。[1][2]

1952年成立永平居委会。2001年底，原镇三村、南龙居委会与永平居委会合并，2003年又与船务公司合并，形成今日的永平社区居民委员会。2001年10月，该居委会已改制为社区居委会。[1][2]

博雅地名网称，社区辖区面积约2.8平方千米，其中耕地约1200亩（原镇三村）。外来人口约1127人，另有户籍人口393人，该页未注明统计年份。[2]

社区下设21个居民小组和7个生产小组，辖区内有大小企业约45家，以腊味、五金和小家电行业为主。社区内有中山市第二中学、托儿所和医疗机构若干。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2022年9月，社区成为中山市首批绿色社区之一，所列年度为2022年。[1]
