白企村位于南朗街道西部，地处五桂山区；2001年11月，白企、合里、贝里三村并为一村，下辖28个自然村[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，甘姓一支于约1370年自紫金迁入，建起观音座村，此后又有多个姓氏迁入，村落陆续形成[1]。

2001年11月，白企、合里、贝里三村合并为白企村[1]。

1944年，抗日游击队与日军在三山虎山一带激战，即三山虎血战，地点属贝里一带[1]。抗战时期，瓦屋下的一座碉楼建于1923年，曾充作中山抗日义勇大队的队部，还是抗日民主政权的县行政督导处旧址[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村子东侧与南朗村为邻，西面连着五桂山群，南面接泮沙村，北边挨着大车村，总面积18.33平方公里[1]。

人口[edit]

2005年，户籍789户，户籍居民2607人；另有流动人口513人，海外华侨与港澳台同胞合计1272人[1]。

文化[edit]

据百度百科，村内留存着八处革命遗址，其中包括中山抗日游击大队的展厅[2]。村中还有13位在抗战和解放战争中牺牲的烈士[1]。
