泮沙村位于南朗街道南部，东临珠江口，西靠云梯山，下辖6个自然村，村民以许姓为主[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武年间，许姓族人自东莞迁来，在沿海沙滩边建村，初名半沙；清乾隆初年改称泮沙[2][3]。

明洪武十四年，此地归属香山县大字都，称半沙村[2]。清道光七年，改属四字都，称泮沙村[2]。

1951年属第四区云梯乡，称泮沙村；1998年9月称泮沙村民委员会[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村落东临珠江口，西边延伸到云梯山，南面挨着崖口村，北侧与亨美村相邻[1]。全村面积8.32平方公里，下辖泮沙海、王屋、南庄、西亨，以及泮沙东堡、泮沙西堡，共六个自然村[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，2024年村户籍人口2490人，常住人口约1万人，村民使用粤方言石岐话[3]。村集体的收入主要来自土地和物业的承包出租，村中仍有耕地2268.89亩、鱼塘621亩[2][3]。

文化[edit]

村中有筠岩许公祠等宗祠，云梯山上还有许仙姑庙；筠岩许公祠属市级不可移动文物[3]。
