新伦村是民众街道下辖的行政村，位于街道北部，紧靠珠江口，建村于清末民国初期。[1][2]
村名取自当地两个沙田冲积内围的名字，即新漳沙围与黄伦炽围各取一字。村内有岭南水乡景区与丰本农业科技园两处旅游项目。[1][3][4]
沿革[edit]
解放前，这片土地分称新漳沙与黄伦炽。1966年，解放前的新涨沙生产大队更名为新伦村，黄伦炽一片则设为克沙村。[1]
1986年，两村改设管理区；博雅地名网称1998年再改回为村，百度百科则称1986年定为现建制，两说对此时间的记载不同。[1][2]
2001年下半年，为精简机构，新伦村与克沙村合为一村，仍名新伦村。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网记户籍人口为4153，内含农业户口3961、非农户口192。全村耕地4768亩，2012年集体收入123万元，人均年收入13715元。[1]
百度百科记2020年户籍4515人，2020年底常住人口约5200人，村集体年收入154万元。[2]
村民以种香蕉、果树与养鱼为主，主产塘鱼与节令水果。[1]
文化与旅游[edit]
村内保留咸水歌、扒禾桶两项市级非物质文化遗产，并有泰兴米机与中兴糖厂遗址。[2]
岭南水乡景区河涌达98条，保存着南亚热带生态。据百度百科，岭南水乡位于民众镇，番中公路一侧。[3]
丰本农业科技园位于街道的「翡翠长廊」大道左侧，又名丰本假日名果园。[4]
2006年11月，村子入选「自然生态类最美乡村旅游示范区」。[1]
