长命水村隶属中山市五桂山街道，在中山城区东南方向约5.5公里处，由石榴坑、白兰桥、龙贡、邱屋四个自然村构成。村名来自村中的一口井：井水甘冽，村民饮用之后多长寿。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落始于清乾隆元年（1736年），当时称石寮。1945年（民国三十四年）改设长命水乡。1958年分设石榴坑、白兰桥两个大队，1963年合为长命水大队；1968年一度改称向阳大队，1970年恢复原名。1983年成为乡建制，1986年12月重新设为村委会，1990年又称管理区，至1998年恢复村委会名称。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村子位于城区东南，北离五桂山区办事处约3.8公里，与南区、东区、石岐区等镇区相邻，南外环近在咫尺，城桂公路横穿全村。[4][2]

村域以山地为主，面积的数字各家不一：博雅地名网记为9.6平方千米，百度百科记为8.3平方千米。[4][2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子以廖、邱两姓为主，共324户，户籍1352人。[4] 百度百科则记户籍1435人，常住人口超过5000人。[2]

经济[edit]

1990年代初，村民借着临近市区的位置，沿公路建起厂房、引入外来企业，还办起了集体企业。2000年后，龙贡村整体搬迁，原址辟为占地4万多平方米的工业园区，目前村内大小企业有60余间。[4]

2005年后，新市场与酒店相继投入使用，房地产有所发展，广东药学院中山校区也落址于此，经济结构逐步由工业转向第三产业。2011年，村集体经济收入达1420万元，人均年纯收入为11401元。[4]

百度百科记2024年的数字：工业物业5.7万平方米，村集体年收入1754.8万元。[2] 2003年，村内实行股份合作制，股民每年可获现金分红。[4]

文化[edit]

1996年，长命水小学竣工，耗资750万元；2003年，长命水幼儿园投入使用。[4]

阿里研究院先后将村子列入「2020年淘宝村」（2020年9月公布）、「2021年淘宝村」（2021年10月）和「2022年淘宝村」（2022年10月）名单。[1] 2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局确定村子为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；同年8月，村子成为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1] 2026年3月，村子获认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
