良都社区是广东省中山市南区街道下辖的社区，位于街道的中部，属主城区。[1][3]

社区于2014年1月由原沙涌、恒美、竹秀园与渡头四个社区合并而成，名称取自南区的古称「良都」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南区古称良都，社区成立时即以此命名，沿用至今。[1]

沙涌位于南区东部，南宋嘉泰三年（1203年）马南宝的先祖自新会县城迁居于此，因树旁河涌多沙而得名。沙涌村是中山市旅游特色村，沙涌历史文化街区为广东省历史文化街区。[2]

恒美在南宋末年由李姓人自新会河塘村迁入，取名恒美村，以华侨众多著称。竹秀园于明嘉靖年间（1522—1566年）由郭秀峰自邻村槎桥迁来建村，因翠竹成林而得名。渡头于明成化十年由台山人雷积善迁入，因重筑岸边码头而立村名。[2]

沙涌、恒美、竹秀园与渡头四处于2006年村改居，2014年1月合并组成良都社区。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

百度百科记社区辖区面积12.6平方千米，常住人口约2.5万人，其下设5个经联社，沙涌、恒美、竹秀园等居其中。[3]

博雅地名网记四个前身社区的原辖区面积：沙涌约4平方公里，恒美约2.7平方公里，竹秀园约2.4平方公里，渡头约5.5平方公里，均未注年份。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

社区内有沙涌的马公纪念堂，竹秀园的「沛勋堂」，渡头的「雷氏大宗祠」，并有为缅怀抗英事迹而建的渡头纪念馆。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，良都社区获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村；2020年12月，社区列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2022年9月，社区被认定为「2022年度第一批中山市绿色社区」。[1]
