曹边村位于广东省中山市南区街道西南部，属北溪社区，距街道办事处约4.6千米，是中山的侨乡之一。[2][3]

村落开村年代各说不一：博雅地名网记为1068年立村，百度百科称北宋年间梁杞后人迁此建村，中山+的报道则称开村于南宋。村民以华侨与侨眷为主，据百度百科，祖籍本村的海外华侨华人逾三千人，分布地以美国和澳大利亚为多。[1][2][3]

村落最初称漕边，清乾隆初年改用现名，曾用名北溪村。[2]

博雅地名网一处写村落历史有800多年，另一处则写1068年立村，两处的年数并不一致，本条目均不取其一。[1]

村落与建筑[edit]

村落背靠梅岭后门山，北台涌与石岐河在旁流过。村中留有清末民初的古民居、碉楼、武侯殿、天后宫、水车馆与石板街，报道称，村中炮楼周边曾列入景观提升工程。[3]

村中还有曹边武侯庙，见于南区街道的名胜古迹一节。[1]

荣誉[edit]

住建部于2017年9月公布一批改善农村人居环境示范村，曹边村列名其中；百度百科称该村同年获评「全国改善农村人居环境示范村」与「中国美丽休闲乡村」，2023年再获评中国美丽休闲乡村。[1][2]

博雅地名网的概况另列该村获评「国家级美丽乡村示范村」「广东美丽乡村特色村」「广东美丽侨村」，并称其为「国家3A级旅游景区」。[4]
