隆昌社区位于西区街道北部，在105国道两侧，居委会设在昌观路。社区前身是1979年设立的隆昌大队，2005年6月改制为隆昌居委会[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1979年为隆昌大队，1984年改为隆昌乡，1987年为隆昌管理区。1998年起为村委会，2005年6月改成居委会，此后未再变更[2]。

地域与人口[edit]

百度百科记，社区下辖七个自然村小组，依次为贴边、秀丰、十六顷、崇章、兆丰、悦生上与悦生下。外来流动人员则约5000人，本地户籍常住约2650人[1]。

村集体分红、鱼塘养殖与土地发包，加上自建房出租，是这里的经济来源。社区建成「美丽渔场」项目，发展智慧养殖与文旅融合，并拥有荔景苑旅游景区[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，社区成为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村之一。2022年8月，社区进入广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建名单；2021年12月，社区获得中山市绿色社区的认定[2]。
