中山港社区是广东省中山市火炬开发区（中山港街道）下辖的社区，位于开发区中心城区，是开发区党工委和管委会的驻地。社区名称来自设在辖区内的中山港国际货柜码头。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

最早在1983年，这里还归张家边公社。1985年改属张家边办事处，1993年转由中山港区管理。1998年并入张家边村委会，2002年又划入张家边居委会。2008年8月，社区经市民政局同意从中分出，设中山港社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1][2]

人口与分区[edit]

博雅地名网记社区辖区总面积11.98平方千米，户籍居民5190人，此外还有近5万外来流动人员。辖内住宅小区共25个，其中有健康花城、安居花园与群英华庭等；另有300多家厂企和商铺，400多户个体经营者。维基百科则记户籍5100多人，常住5万多人，两组数字并存。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，社区被认定为「2021年度中山市绿色社区」；2025年5月，入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」；2025年11月，入选「广东省未来社区（完整社区）建设试点」名单。[1]
