张家边村位于广东省中山市火炬开发区张家边社区，在中山市政府以东约9.25千米处，北面濒临横门水道，是这一带的政治、经济和商业中心。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
南宋咸淳年间（1265—1274年），张凤岗一家从张溪（今属石岐区）迁来建村。村子临海，又是张姓最早定居之处，因此得名。百度百科称村子现由张家边社区管辖。[1]
人口与方言[edit]
村内一至四村的居民多用闽系方言，称张家边话；五村居民多用粤系方言，称水上话。村内姓氏有110个，以马、吴、陈三姓较多。[1]
