张家边社区是广东省中山市火炬开发区（中山港街道）下辖的社区，位于开发区的中部。它于2001年由村改居后设立，同年12月经市民政局批准成立居民委员会，名称取自居委会所在的张家边。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

设社区之前，这一带分属张家边、江尾头、窈窕等村委会，另有一个张家边居委会。2001年年底，四个居委会合并，设立张家边居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

2013年8月，社区党总支升格为党委，下设张家边村党总支、若干小区党支部和一个综合党支部。[2]

人口与基层[edit]

面积方面，博雅地名网给出的数字是18平方千米；火炬高新区的统计页（维基百科）则给出10平方千米。居住人口上，博雅地名网记常住17541人，流动人员约5万；维基百科记常住1.8万人、流动6万人。社区下辖7个小区和1个中心小区。[1][2][3]

2009年，社区获评「全国集体财务管理先进单位」；社区还曾获广东省城市体育先进社区的称号。[2]

2022年11月，社区被认定为「2022年度第二批中山市绿色社区」。[1]
