宫花村属火炬开发区六和社区，在区域西南，离区管委会约7.8千米。东边紧挨西村，南面与博凯社区相连，西面是陵岗村，北面到大岭村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明宣德元年（1426年）村子始立，早先称竹迳坑，又名竹迳村。据百度百科所载，明正德年间，村中一位王姓女子入宫，因此获赐「宫花」之名，村名便改为现今的称呼。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村南有八稔嶂山，海拔280米。一条乡道，名为宫花环村大街，穿村而过。过去靠种水稻、甘蔗为生；20世纪90年代后转为以工业为主。村内的企业有40余家，其中包括马头家具厂与香江食品厂。2015年，集体经济总收入为597万元。[1]
