明代时，村子归香山县得能都管辖；2008年起划入六和社区。[1]

经济[edit]

村里传统以水稻种植和禽畜养殖为主，如今已转向工业。大家围工业区内集聚着电子、五金企业。村集体经济2015年的收入为545万元；村民多以务工和房屋出租为主要收入。特产农作物包括脆肉龙眼与黄皮果。[1]
