张家边五村又名顷九村，位于广东省中山市火炬开发区中西部，是该区下辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清末民初，这里还是海域。港口、顺德、番禺等地的渔民筑堤围垦，得地约190亩，初名「顷九」。人民公社时期，此地被划为张家边第五大队，遂得现名。村落分为上顷九与下顷九两部分，1972年两地各建一座三孔水闸，用于防洪排污。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，村中2015年底登记在册的户籍人口为966人；此外还有外来非户籍人口约6000人。村民世代通用的是粤方言沙田话。传统以水稻、甘蔗种植和畜禽养殖为主，如今以第三产业为主，村里还有一个农贸市场，即张家边五村农贸市场。村集体在2015年的收入是91万元，村民收入则主要靠工资、出租房屋与集体分红。[1]
