小隐村是火炬开发区西南部的一个行政村，2008年起归城东社区管理。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖初年，蔡、陈两姓来此立村，原名小运。清乾隆时，村子背山临海，遂改名小隐。清光绪元年，村子归香山县东镇管辖，之后又数次调整行政隶属。[1]

2002年，村中成立股份合作经济联合社，同时更名为小引小区。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

村南有大常山，北临小隐涌；博爱路和环茂路贯穿村域。原以农业为生，90年代起转为工业区，现引入食品加工、手袋制作等企业。2015年，村集体收入407万元。村中的小区设有商业街与工业街，其中商业街上有480家企业入驻。[1]
