历史沿革[edit]
社区成立于2002年4月，当年桃苑居民委员会获中山市人民政府批准设立，名称沿用至今。[1][4]
社区以桃苑新村得名，该居委会设在桃苑新村。[2]
人口与区域[edit]
社区现设9个居民小组，共1671户、4582人，男女分别为2317人与2265人，另有流动人口4332人。[3]
社区内的土瓜岭为一个自然村，其余为齐富花园、雅苑等住宅小区。[3]
设施与党建[edit]
社区内有东区中学、中心小学和幼儿园，并有医疗站、大型商场和菜市场。[3]
