长江三溪社区位于东区最南端，距中山市城区约8公里，2005年由长江、三溪两个村改为社区。[1][3]

社区辖区内有长江水库，其总库容为4820万立方米。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

2005年，东区推行「村改居」，长江村与三溪村改为社区，第二届社区委员会在长江村委会办公，2008年社区办公大楼在长江村落成。[2][4]

长江村属革命老区。村中青年在五桂山游击大队（1942年5月组建）中表现突出，有50多名先进青年，其中6人牺牲。[3]

三溪村早先名为三角塘。因禾福庙门楼刻有「三溪」两字（该庙建于清光绪二十四年（1898年）），村名于1981年改为三溪村。[3]

据百度百科，社区还曾获「广东省六好平安和谐社区」称号。[1]

2024年1月，社区被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；2025年11月，入选「广东省未来社区（完整社区）建设试点」名单。[2]
