历史沿革[edit]
2002年5月，沙岗、槎桥、新安三个村委会合设桥岗村委会；2003年8月，改为桥岗社区居民委员会。[2][4]
社区辖下原有沙岗、槎桥、新安三个自然村，并有优雅翠园、朗晴假日和苗圃场三个生活小区。[2]
人口与区域[edit]
据百度百科，社区辖区总面积13.1平方千米。截至2024年6月，常住人口为2.5万余人，户籍人口为2万余人；社区辖12个住宅小区，并下辖三个经联社。[1]
槎桥经联社辖搓桥、旱坑等5个自然村，共有20多个姓氏，村内至今保留郭氏祠堂。[3]
沙岗经联社的3个自然村为沙岗、桥头与旱塘，户籍685户，共1892人。[3]
经济[edit]
社区以工业为主，工厂和企业逾300家，行业涵盖电子、印刷、家具、制衣和五金。[3]
汽车维修是社区较突出的服务业，已形成汽车维修集中区。[3]
1994年前后农业经济基本结束，三个村委会转而建设厂房和宿舍，靠出租物业增加集体收入。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2022年9月，社区被认定为「2022年度第一批中山市绿色社区」；2024年1月，被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。[2]
