槎滘村位于中堂镇北部，北临东江干流，与增城新塘隔江相对，2002年时是中堂镇户籍人口最多的村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据《槎滘村志》（1992年编写）所述，槎滘村大约在南宋宁宗庆元年间（1195年）立村。黎氏于1195年由南雄迁入，陈氏同期自顺德迁来打鱼落户，罗氏则在1250年由南雄珠玑巷迁入。[1]

1949年前此地属中堂区管辖；1952年划入八区，1953年改属十四区，1956年又回到中堂区。1987年成为槎滘管理区，1999年才改为槎滘村委会。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

2002年的数字显示，外来人口3000多人，户籍人口9000多人；全村总面积7平方千米，共23个村民小组。东糖集团（原东莞糖厂）设在村东南的莲花氹旁。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，槎滘村先后上榜淘宝村名单。[1]
