凤冲村位于中堂镇东南部，东临湛翠村，西接鹤田村，南临东江南支流，与高埗镇芦村隔江相望。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，凤冲村立于清代，年代写作「清圣祖康熙年间（约1650年）」，村中陈氏始祖由博罗县迁来定居。但康熙年号始于1662年，1650年并不在康熙年间之内，此处的年代与年号对不上。[1]

村名原作凤翀。1951年凤冲、袁家涌和湛翠三村合为三联乡，1955年三联乡撤销，凤冲成为一个行政村。其后曾改称凤冲大队，1960年至1962年间，它与鹤田合并成凤鹤大队；1963年又恢复为凤冲大队；1983年为凤冲乡，1986年为凤冲管理区，1999年方改为凤冲村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2002年统计，户籍人口1500多人，外来人口1000多人，辖3个村民小组。全村陈姓人口在九成以上。1999年村里出资25万元建成一个1000平方米的农贸市场；2002年，全村有企业及个体户15个，工业总产值1850万元。[1]

荣誉与文物[edit]

2020年8月，凤冲村列入广东省农业农村厅公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产品为中华草龟；2022年1月，它列入2021年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建名录。[1]

村内的陈氏家祠及胜起家祠为清代建筑，博雅地名网称它是第八批东莞市文物保护单位。陈伯陶故居探花祠即这一胜起家祠，百度百科则说探花祠2004年已列为东莞市文物保护单位，两处年份不同。[2][3]
