历史沿革[edit]
解放初此地归新明乡，1953年改隶十四区新联乡，1957年划入望牛墩大乡，1958年由中堂公社管辖。[2]
1961年起隶属望牛墩公社，设朱平沙大队；1983年建乡，1987年为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网载，村辖户籍人口3200多人，新莞人约3000人，村党支部有党员120多人（年份未注明）。镇政府网站称，该村既是市的扶贫村，也是市的革命老区。[1][2]
百度百科称，该村2004年起借助市镇帮扶实现经济转型，通过共建产业园区推动工业升级，工业增加值占全镇一半以上。截至2022年，村里累计投入超过1000万元改善村居环境，完成环村路网升级与雨污分流等工程。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月公布的名单中有朱平沙村，属省民主法治示范村（社区）创建对象。[2]
2022年10月，朱平沙村列入2022年淘宝村名单。[2]
2026年1月，朱平沙村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
