历史沿革[edit]
1949年前此地为望联乡，解放初仍属八区；1953年改入十五区，1957年列为望牛墩大乡所属，1958年由中堂公社管辖。[2]
1961年起属望牛墩公社，设望联大队；1983年撤队设乡，1987年改为望联管理区，1999年9月成为望联村委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
百度百科载，2020年望联村人口约6312人，其中户籍5112人，另有新莞人约1200人。[4]
