下漕村是望牛墩镇南端的行政村，东面与道滘镇隔河相望，南边与洪梅镇的凼涌村相邻，西面隔河与洪梅梅沙村相望。全村下辖下漕、官派、长洲、步律四个自然村。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年此地属八区洲漕乡，1953年改属十四区洲漕乡，1957年并入望牛墩大乡，1958年归中堂公社。[2]

1961年此地设下漕大队，隶属望牛墩公社；1983年设乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年又改称村委会。[2]

地理与交通[edit]

望洪公路穿过本村，村子距107国道约5公里，距广深高速公路望牛墩出入口约2公里。向东到东莞市汽车总站约10分钟车程，向西到麻涌港口也约10分钟车程。[1]

村辖区总面积（含水域）3.9平方千米，其中耕地约1150亩，水塘约510亩，河域约750亩，工商业用地约1305亩。[1]

人口[edit]

博雅地名网所载2008年底常住人口为4147人，外来人口约4000人。[3] 村内的居民由下漕、官派、长洲、步律四个自然村构成，分为五个村民小组。[1][3]

经济与设施[edit]

据镇政府网站2021年发布的村情资料，入驻村内的投资企业共40家，外资的有5家，民营的有35家，主要行业为五金、电子、制衣、食品和家具。[1]

村里设有一所自办小学，有医疗服务中心1个和卫生站3个，另有一支45人的环卫队伍负责每日清运垃圾。[1]
