大步村是广东省东莞市麻涌镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的新城镇中心区，与镇办事中心相连，是镇内集行政、文化、居住和商业于一体的地区。离东莞市区约22公里，离广州经济技术开发区约4.5公里。[1][2]
村域面积的数字两处不同：镇政府栏目称10.7平方千米，博雅地名网称8.4平方千米；镇政府栏目记常住约32000人，博雅地名网记户籍7000多人、外来约6000人，统计年份均未注，本条两说并存。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
镇政府栏目称，村庄约立于明初，距今六百五十余年。当时朝廷推行屯田，隶属广州鹿步司的前卫十五屯军士被派往东面无主的芦苇滩开荒，张、郭、王、宁、赵、蔡、彭七姓的兵头各自选择村内的高地落户，并以姓氏为坊名。[3]
博雅地名网载，村庄在1949年以前隶属番禺县十五屯，当时叫大步乡。1949年10月改属东莞县第八区，归入漳步乡之下；1953年划入第十四区，乡名沿用不变。合作社设立于1954年。1958年并入麻涌公社，称大步营，1960年定为大步大队。1983年再度建乡，1987年以管理区形式运作，到1999年才成为村委会。[1][4]
地理与交通[edit]
村庄北接中麻公路，通连107国道，离广深珠高速公路立交口约2公里；村内水道直通珠江口。佛莞城际轨道的麻涌站设在村辖区内。[3][1]
经济[edit]
村庄以水稻、香蕉、甘蔗为主要作物，改革开放后引入工业。博雅地名网载，村内先后出现70多家企业，行业覆盖食品、体育用品、电子、五金、建材、化工、织布、造船与纸品包装等。截至2008年年末，村集体总资产约1.43亿元，可支配收入3125万元。[1][2]
镇政府栏目提到，村里正推进城中村改造与中部现代化产业园建设。[3]
文化与名胜[edit]
大步村是作家陈残云创作《香飘四季》的原创地之一。村内「大步巡游」民俗活动已列入「广东省第七批非物质文化遗产项目」。[3][1]
1993年，东莞市将大步村评为「解放战争游击根据地」，村内留有地下党的革命遗迹。大步革命烈士纪念碑及革命烈士墓位于村内集体公墓「安陵」的西南角，纪念碑于1993年10月22日建成，高3.8米。[1][3]
大步观音祖庙位于宁坊附近，始建于1912年，1989年重修，为三开二进的四合院式布局。[1]
荣誉[edit]
镇政府栏目列出的荣誉有「全国造林绿化千佳村」「广东省文化和旅游特色村」「广东省科普示范社区」「广东省民主法治示范村」「广东省卫生村」「广东省文明村」等。博雅地名网另载，2022年10月大步村入选「2022年淘宝村」名单，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村」。[3][1]
