历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，蔡白村的建立可追溯到明朝。这里的管理体制后来几经改换：先在1999年设村委会，1989年才改为管理区，更早则依次为1969年的革命委员会、1958年的大队和1953年的乡。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村内下辖蔡屋、彭辣、上口、凤龙阁、律涌和白路六个村民小组，博雅地名网写作白路，百度百科则写作白鹭，此处照博雅地名网。[1][2] 道厚路、港口大道、蔡白沿江路和水乡大道穿过村内。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村内有常住的户籍居民，另有流动人口约三千。[2]
经济[edit]
村内有鞋材、家具和五金等企业，博雅地名网称生产企业与个体工商户合计三百多家。[1] 百度百科则计为三十多家企业，二者统计口径不同。[2] 律涌粤剧曲艺队是村中较有名气的文艺队伍。[2]
2014年中旬，村里对外公开招标兴建农贸市场，以增加集体收入；村内又设立了黑皮科瓜合作社，并对篮球场一带进行了改造。[3]
