兴隆社区是广东省东莞市道滘镇的一个社区，设在镇中心区，全镇只此一个社区。[1] 社区的五个分会分布在南城、闸口、北永、永庆和厚德一带，社区办公处曾设在济川善堂旧址，这座楼建于1936年，现为东莞市文物保护单位。[3][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

这里早先叫作道滘圩，后来才改用现名。1984年，此地设立镇人民政府；1987年改组为居民委员会，1994年又改为居民管理区；2005年起，才定名为兴隆社区居委会。[1][4]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区登记的非农业户口为4597户，合计12409人，其中通过积分入户的新莞人占1478人。[2] 2014年镇政府网站的两篇介绍所列数字不同，一处为6048户与11829人，另一处为4424户，此处取博雅地名网的数字。[3][4]

文化[edit]

济川善堂由商人和富户集资于1936年兴建，用来义诊、收殓无名尸骨，楼高两层，兼有西式楼宇与中式尖顶瓦面屋顶的特点。[5] 楼顶牌楼上的图案在民国时期是青天白日旗，解放后改为五角星。2012年11月，此楼列入第九批东莞市文物保护单位名录；1981年至2016年间用作社区办公楼，目前拟改建为非遗工作站。[5]

2019年9月，社区上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]

党建工作[edit]

社区党组织以服务型党组织为建设方向，招募党员和其他志愿者组成服务队伍，又推行领导干部驻点联系群众的做法。[2]
