穗丰年村是沙田镇下辖的行政村，位于莞城西南约27千米处。大泥村在它的东面，西侧是虎门港西大坦作业区，北面连着民田与福禄沙，南面为齐沙村。辖区面积5.9平方千米，下辖6个村民小组。村政府网站称，常住约12000人，户籍3278人。[1]

村子于1999年设立村委会。村子的建制几经变化：1949年仍属虎门区，1958年为穗丰年大队，1983年称乡，1987年改管理区。[2][3]

经济与产业[edit]

村内农产以香蕉为主，也盛产鱼虾与蔬菜，是广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」水产养殖专业村。近年来村内整治了6500米河涌，并协助开发400亩农田的文旅项目。[3]

民生设施[edit]

2005年以来，村里陆续完善民生配套。村内有民办幼儿园与民办学校，沙田第二小学也设在村内，另有综合市场、社区门诊，以及休闲公园、图书馆、电子阅览室和老人活动中心。[1][2]

交通[edit]

村子临近沿江高速，进港中路和进港南路经过辖区，东连沙田大道，西接港口大道，北面有沿江高速（民田段）的出入口。[1]
