福禄沙村是沙田镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西部，距东莞市中心约24千米。村域东邻阇西村，东南接穗丰年村，西濒东江南支流出海口，南与西大坦村相接。辖区面积约5平方千米，下辖5个村民小组。村政府网站称，户籍约2300余人，另有外来常住人口约5000人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村政府网站的村情介绍称，清代中期，此处是东江南支与狮子洋的交汇处，水道众多，滩涂和沙洲逐渐形成。疍民与周边农民开始在沙洲上的围基堤上筑屋而居，聚居点因此得名「福禄沙」。[1]

经济[edit]

村辖区内有企业与个体工商户200多家，主要从事塑料、水泥制品的加工，并有五金、木业加工和码头企业。集体经济收益主要来自出租厂房和商铺。[1]村里有一处工业区，以及综合市场和农贸市场各一个。[2]

设施与文旅[edit]

村内建有党群服务中心、农民公寓、图书馆、老人活动中心和灯光篮球广场，并有多个小公园。辖区内的东莞港中央公园、疍家文化艺术中心和湿地公园也是文旅项目，村里还有以海鲜为主的农庄和农家乐一条街。[1]

荣誉[edit]

村政府网站列出多项荣誉，如「东莞市固本强基工程市级示范点」「东莞市平安社区」「东莞市生态村」「全国综合减灾示范社区」「东莞市文明村」「广东省健康促进村」等。2025年，村子入选广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村培育单位。[1]
