白濠村处在镇的最南端，和虎门镇相接，面积为5.3平方千米，其下有七个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子历史上因盛产白蠔而得名，后来东江泥沙冲积成良田，发展为鱼米之乡。[1]

经济[edit]

经济以工业为主，外资企业约50余家，内资企业90余家，个体工商户一千二百多户。农业方面有一个451.9亩的家庭农场，主营水稻。村组两级净资产达3.55亿元。[1]

荣誉与设施[edit]

村子曾获「广东省卫生村」「东莞市文明村」称号。村内有小学、幼儿园与村级图书中心，并实施教育帮扶制度。[1]
