宝塘社区位于广东省东莞市厚街镇南部东边，面积1.7平方千米。社区东面为深溪山，南面连着下汴社区，西面与沙田镇西太隆村的泥头围相邻，北面则是沙塘与溪社区。[1]
经济管理[edit]
1992年以前，社区的五个生产队各自核算经济。此后，社区把五队的资金、土地与人力统一调配，合并为村一级经济，由村统一管理。社区环境优美，设施齐全，村民文化素质较好、民风淳朴。[1]
